Kickstarting First Project - Spring 2026
Our fiscal sponsor partner found a home for five young cows, but needs help to cover their care and transportation from MN to NY.
Cows: the pictured calf (Mimi) who survived a bear attack in August 2025 and her best friend (Jasmine) who was orphaned the month prior... along with Mimi's young mother (Little Moe) also pictured, plus an even younger calf (Timmy) and Timmy's young mother (Tippi).
Together, they charmed a farm worker (Beth), who worked tirelessly and against the odds found a sanctuary in NY (Faerie Glen Sanctuary) willing to adopt them. Beth then found Dawn at A Well-Fed World, who was inspired to help raise the funds as soon as possible to transport them to safety.
