Since 2009, we have provided 3,200+ grants totaling $18+ million dollars in 100 countries! In 2025, we provided a record-breaking $1.68+ million fiscal sponsor grants ($1.73M+ with all grants including Plants-4-Hunger).
Important update: Our granting model transitioned away from open online applications. Our focus is now on facilitating funding through fiscal sponsorships and within our established partnership circles. More Power-Per-Dollar
Our Plants-4-Hunger, Climate Food Fund, and Fiscal Sponsorship grants empower groups and individuals in the U.S. and around the world by strengthening plant-based food and farming through direct service and advocacy.
With our grants, contributions go farther...
Many of our international recipients leverage the power of the dollar to make exceptional differences in low-income countries, where the U.S. dollar often has higher purchasing power.
Many of our U.S. recipients stretch donations far as they are individuals and small groups with limited resources and low overhead. Your donation makes a relatively bigger difference for groups with smaller budgets.
The Power of Grassroots Change
A Well-Fed World works with national and international non-profits and other NGOs at the policy level to create structural reform and leverage the massive ripple effects of top-down change.
Our grants complement this by working with locally based organizations to build a strong foundation and create a direct impact from the bottom-up.
Structural change is critical for long-term solutions that address core issues, not just symptoms. Hunger relief activities provide immediate assistance while also providing both incentive and support for structural change.
Our grant recipients are chosen for their effectiveness and ability to create immediate change in their communities and/or support critical structural change... both types of advocacies reinforce the other.
