Green Your Diet
Greening your diet and avoiding animal products improves your health, redirects valuable food resources, reduces greenhouse gases, and protects the environment,
Vote with your shopping dollars. Request meat-free, egg-free and dairy-free products from stores and restaurants. Want something specific? Then let your voice be heard. Get extra attention for your request, by putting it in writing and/or making a personal request from retail managers.

For easy, any day activism… take leaflets or other handouts to bookstores, health food stores, doctor’s offices, or other appropriate, high-traffic areas. Leafleting outside to people walking by is a great way to enjoy the day.
Use special occasions for leafleting, setting up an information table, and/or doing a distributing food samples (also known as a feed-in).

Connect with Other Social Justice Groups
Examine the basic assumptions that underlie discussions and decision-making and offer solutions that reduce dependence on animal agriculture, especially large-scale production.
Build on your current strengths and networks. Figure out how the AWFW topics fit with your current interests and help others see the connections. If you are not in a group, consider joining one.
